Alternates to MHCC

I am on waiting lists of all schools I applied this year. Do you have any information about the alternate list of MHCC, for example the number of alternates and how many alternates will be likely accepted in the program each year? Thank you very much

I could see that all the accepted people were there, just a few alternates didn't show up. I really hope they will take all alternates because we have to do a lot of stuff before the starting. I heard that last year they took close to 40 alternates, and there also were about 13 alternates who came to the orientation. This year, I knew from my friend that at the 2 week before the deadline, there were 8 to 9 alternates refused their positions. Thus, we will have about 37 to 38 alternates this year toward the orientation. I figure out that there are almost 20 alternates were called. I don't know whether I should be positive! I hope they will take alternates for this year as the way they used to last years.

Just got a call from clackamas this morning and they offered me a spot.... so one of the alternates @ mt. hood will me getting a spot :)

that's great, and CONGRATULATIONS!!!! good to see people ARE moving through this lists... slowly but surely! I'm sure there will be more instances like that!

I have just called MHCC to ask about the waiting list. They said to me that this year they think they will not take as many alternates as last years based on the list up till now ( the list isn't really moving up at all)

Hi, I know you didn't apply at RCC, but if it is any consolation when I was in their office the secretary said they have called people the day before. I know you are probably on pins and needles this whole time, but hang in there lady:)
