Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

Dress professional, I was advised to wear a pants suit, and just be honest and don't stress

I wore heels and a black business suit with jacket but make sure whatever you wear you are comfortable enough not to fidget. Be confident in your answers. The interview is really painless. Make sure you ask questions about the program, even if you can only come up with questions you already heard answers to from us.

Thanks. I sure hope so. This is my dream! I work in a hospital and I see UTMB nursing students all the time. I just imagine myself in the scrubs and what not. Lol

Please don't feel discouraged. I know it's easier said than done but don't. I'm not even sure if this is the last round but I will make sure to ask when I go for my interview.
