Okay, I cannot take it anymore. I am so ready to get into school but it seems so far away. Anybody else out there planning to apply for fall 2017? Anybody else feeling like time is dragging? What prerequisites do yall have done and what do you have left? I am currently in micro which is all I need to apply. :arghh:

I am in Micro too, that is all I need, and trying to finish up on some prereqs for BSN.

What are your guys grades and Hesi courses?

Wow, I am sorry it did not notify me that you had commented so sorry for the late reply. Right now I have made A's in both A&P 1 and 2 and a 93 on the Hesi. I am hoping to get an A in Micro as well so it will give me a really good shot of getting in. What about you? What other classes are you taking this semester?

No problem, with the grades you have now there is no way you will not get in. I'm taking Micro and some prerequisites. I have one A, and one B so far. I'm taking the Hesi the end of the month.

This thread is so quiet. I hope others join in. I am going to the information session December 7th is anyone else going?

Hello. I am done with all my prerequisites to apply. I'm currently taking English 1 this wintermester and life span in the spring. I'm planning on taking my hesi in feb or March. Unfortunately, I have a 3.0 science gpa right now so I'm still debating if I should retake both ap 1&2

Are you planning on applying for fall 2017 just to see if you'll make it? I've seen some people in the past on here make it if they do well on the hesi I believe. I'm taking chemistry in the spring to get it out of the way so I can go for a bsn after the adn.

My original plan was to hopefully start next fall, But we all know that's never a guarantee. I registered for ap1 in the spring but I'm still debating if I will take it and apply next testing date (for 2018 spring), take it and drop if I make a good grade on my hesi, or just take my chances and don't retake and apply with whatever grade I make on the hesi. I've been stressing over this dilemma. Regardless, I'll still take the test in February though.

That is stressful. On one hand it will be a waste of money and time if you take it again and get into the program. On the other hand it is better to be safe than sorry because it will put you behind. Have you been studying for the hesi yet? The hardest section for me was the grammar section. Its hard for me to tell which word doesn't belong when I can't say the sentence out loud.

I think I'm just going to try my best and take the test and apply. I just ordered the study book so I'm hoping to be able to get some studying in. I'm worried about the math section since math is my weakest subject. I hear there is a calculator we can use though, right? Have you gotten all your shots?

There is a calculator there which made it easier time wise. I didn't know there would be one until I got to the testing center. However, I believe that helped me in the long run because writing out the problems made me remember how yo do them. I had most of my shots when I was a child so I went and had titers done for most of them. I just got my Tdap this year so I should be good.
