HELLO future nurses! I currently applied to Shelton state LPN program for 2015 Spring term. The wait for acceptance letters has me so nervous ! Anyone else out there waiting for acceptance letters and or know the cut off points please comment below ..thanks!!

Billijean1969, do you know when applicants will be notified for fall acceptance? I know the deadline to apply was extended to 6/6/16.

GPA means nothing. Only thing that matters is TEAS, the grades you made in Anatomy 1 and 2 and Microbiology, medical experience, and if you took 18 credit hours at Shelton. I applied with a 169. I only made a 106 on the TEAs (should have studied) but I made an A in Anatomy 1 and Microbiology (unfortunately haven't taken Anatomy 2 yet).

Last summer my sister got her notice (rejection) half way through July, however, the deadline was the end of May. My wife applied for the LPN program and got her notice about a week before Halloween so I guess 7-8 weeks.

Last summer I got my acceptance letter around June 13th, but the deadline was the end of May.
