San Joaquin Delta College ADN SPRING 2014

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Anyone who is applying to the spring 2014 ADN program at SJDC want to share info with one another? I do not believe there has been a thread started as of yet. So does anyone know the point range that was admitted into the program last semester (whats good/bad), and who wants to share how many points they have? Thanks and good luck to all!!

I am not aware how they go about letting students know. I think the next step is to have the students that met the requirements provide proof of documents...but I am not positive. I guess all we can do is keep checking for the status update, and wait. Booooo I absolutely hate waiting. oh well, no choice. :)

When my friend applied all applicants who met the minimum requirements were invited to submit supporting documents- with course descriptions etc. it ends up being quite a packet. They will provide a list of needed documents and a time frame for turning it in. After that they will evaluate us and give our standings. I think we have at least a couple more months of waiting!

hello all!!! I have applied for the spring 2014 semester. My points total is 68.5. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I have read past threads and in prior semesters, the points cut off was around 59.... but I think it varies from semester to semester. Also, I know in the past that the nursing dept. has asked EVERYONE who applied to send in supporting documents. It varies from semester to semester. Idk if they are going to send an email on Sept 13, or if we have to click on the link provided to us when we received the email after our initial submission. I tried the link today and the username and password provided but it does not work. Anyone else try that??? Also, if you go to the ADN webpage, it says that the application period is still open, even though it was sopposed to close on Sept 6. ???

I keep trying the link also with the login and password that they provided, and yes it hasnt worked for me as well. The 13th probably means the 13th but I cant help myself...I keep trying anyways. I also saw that the APP was still open this morning, but I just checked ADN website and it now says "CLOSED" in beautiful red letters. This is a good sign that we might be on track for tomorrow for status updates.

I keep doing the same thing you all are doing..checking, checking, checking the link. If I find anything out I will post something. I guess it would be a good idea to start to get documentation together because I was under that same impression. Those who meet the requirements will have to submit proof. In the mean-time I will continue thanking God for getting me this far!!

I know it's only 6 30 am, but I checked the link again, and it's still not working.....:nailbiting:

Me too!! lol. and then it dawned on me...today is Friday the 13th. aaaaaaahhhh...

I think they enjoy messing with us! To make their Friday a little better they will log on to allnurses and read all of our anxious comments lol. Just FYI, they don't actually ask everyone who applies to submit materials. I have a friend who received an email last semester stating that she wasn't being considered as an applicant because she did not

"rank" high enough. She did meet minimum requirements and did not receive that response the first time she applied. Found that interesting especially since there are supposed to be random selection positions available... anyone else know of a similar situation? Since its fun to think about the what ifs?... If you all get accepted what clinical site would you like to work at and why? I am not at all familiar with the hospitals in Stockton, I am from Modesto. Did a few classes at Delta and a few at MJC. It would be nice to know which one are well known, best location, and what clinical instructors have the best reputation. Thanks!

So... I can use the link to get to the point of putting in my student ID# and birthdate. It won't take me any further when I click the log in button - anyone else experiencing this issue?

the link is available!! woo hoo!! I was asked to submit documents.:woot: Did everyone get this info? It says ranks will be available Oct 30th. bleh....so far away

I got the info and I was asked to submit too... here we go. :D

The link worked fine for me. I was asked to submit documentation!! woo hoo:)
