Nursing Students School Programs

Anyone who is applying to the spring 2014 ADN program at SJDC want to share info with one another? I do not believe there has been a thread started as of yet. So does anyone know the point range that was admitted into the program last semester (whats good/bad), and who wants to share how many points they have? Thanks and good luck to all!!

For the BOG... I am wondering if you girls could turn in your FASFA form that shows the amount that you qualify for. Isn't it if you qualify for FASFA you automatically get BOG? Something along those lines maybe since the Fin. Aid office doesn't seem to willing to help you!

I too didnt see anything specifics about sending in a hard copy of the APP, so Im not sending it in either. Just feels better to hear it from someone else. :geek:

Im hoping to use my award letter for BOGG and PELL. Seems like proof enough to me.

Hi everyone I also am applying for the Spring semester and am so nervous! My points add up to 70.5 and I am unsure about it being high enough. I hope that all of us will be selected :)

I called and asked about the BOGG documentation and was directed to email the allied health email so as soon as I hear back I will let you all know.

Has anyone heard or seen information about the cost of the program? MJC has it all detailed out but I can't find any information about Delta's

Hi Guys! I was wondering the same about the BOGG verification! What I ended up doing was I printed out an email that said "Congratulations! You qualify for the BOGG fee waiver!" and included that into my packet. I hope that is acceptable! And I hope they don't disqualify me for that!

@mheslop88

Yes please let us know what they say regarding BOGG doc. I too was curious about program costs. Ive heard that right up front you need $2K for entry type stuff. Another time Ive heard that total cost for program will end up being $6K. What was the cost @ MJC. I cant imagine that Delta would be too far off.

I did the same thing for my BOGG as well.

Has anyone dropped off their packet yet to HS building? If so, congrats! How did it go?

I dropped off my packet to the information desk yesterday. I hope it gets delivered to the right department and not get lost somewhere.

So I just saw the email back from the department and the award letter for financial aid/BOGG fee waiver works.

@gamerchick the MJC program cost comes to about 6k but they include costs of NCLEX fees uniform shoes books everything pretty much! They break it down by semester too. If you go to http://www.mjc.edu/prospective/programs/alliedhealth/and/ and click on the top right of the page where it says estimated costs you can see the whole breakdown

@mheslop88 Awesome! thanks for the update from the department.

Oct 30th will not come soon enough.

pinkcheeks,

I did the same today. I felt a little uneasy about just leaving it with the students and the information desk.... but I went over and stood in the admissions and records line, and as soon as I walked up with my packet, she looked at me crazy and told me to go over to the information desk, and that they stamp the packets with the day and time, and admissions picks them up at the end of the day and delivers them.

October 30th..... hurry up!!
