Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I am wanting to apply to the Fort Myers, Fl location to their Nursing Program. I'm nervous about their accreditation, can their school close at anytime and I am left with no transferable credits? Or when I pass, will I have any difficulty getting my license? Will it be easy for me to find an online program where I can get my BSN when I am done? I am worried due to the response I got when asking about accreditation. We had a school shut its doors recently here in Ft Myears, no notice to faculty or students. How would you take them response and what advice do you have for me regarding the Ft Myers locations.

The BSN is the programmatically accredited program through the CCNE. Our college has Regional Accreditation from HLC. The Associate degree of nursing at this campus is not programmatically accredited. Students are eligible to sit for their NCLEX –RN at the successful completion of either program Associates or BSN.

Please see the accreditation tab on our website for full explanations and follow up:

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) also regionally accredited The Corinthian Group of Colleges. On May 4, 2015 Corinthian filed for bankruptcy in Delaware. Like thieves in the night and without warning to anyone they shuttered their schools leaving thousands of students stranded and highly in debt with no degrees. Reputable schools do not do this but schools that exist mainly by loaning up students to the max do all the time and we will see more and more of them go bust in 2017.
