Hello, looking for updated information if anyone has attended the Mounts MSN direct entry program. All of the other threads are a little older. I have applied for the May 18 cohort, looking for advice on classes, houses, materials, etc.

Hi @kkmm2, I am sorry, I do not. I was accepted with an overall 3.1 GPA ( which is not very high)-- my math and science GPA was not the greatest either but I did well in API, Nutrition, and Micro which helped me out a little. Definitely reach out to the program director, they are very helpful

Thanks for the feedback @kiknox! I am worried about the personal statement, I do not really have any experience in the medical field. My undergraduate degree is not science related

I don't think your experience matters as much as your drive to enter this program. Maybe you should look at from that approach, what you could gain from this second degree program, why you chose nursing...

For anyone starting in the May 18 cohort I have started a FB group to help us all get acquainted prior to starting the program. I know some people, like myself will be looking for housing in Cincy - so this will help people find roommates too! FB Group: Magelin May 18 Cohort
