lehman college gpa problems

hello I am very frustrated and i am not sure if there is any hope for me i want to get into lehman's nursing program but i am not sure if there is any hope for me. i read everyone comment and their gpa is like 3.5 or higher in pre-reqs my overall gpa is 3.3 but just in pre-reqs its 2.6 :( i am going to take the hesi during winter recess but even if i do great on the hesi will they even look at my stuff. i feel like quitting school i dont want to do anything but nursing i am a very determined young individual and i want to keep fighting. help someone please give me some advice im very desperate for some advice.

Hey sorry hun, I am currently a Senior in the Generic Program. Unfortunately, they only count the prereq GPA. With that being said, with a 2.6, it's a definite no. I would suggest looking into private schools, who are often a little more lenient. If you're really determined to do nursing, take time to do over some of those prereqs to make your applications stronger. However, for Lehman they only accept the first grade. Don't give up, keep pushing!
