GTC Fall 2017 cohort

Nursing Students School Programs

Just wanted to start a link for ADN at GTC. You probably know the deadline is January 15. To anyone taking the Kaplan soon, good luck. The minimum has been raised to 75. It's so competitive. If you don't score at least an 85 I dont think they accept you. It's because even A students find the rigors of nursing classes vs. Prenursing difficult. I turned my packet in last week. Do yourself a favor and print out the application off the website (undrr forms and documents). Also print a transcript off of Banner. This will help tremendously with the application, I had several schools on my transcript and you don't want to find out you're missing a prereq now. Again, happy holidays and good luck to all future nurses.

Hello future GTC Nursing students. Enjoying the new year and days off from work. But wanted to say I am Still extremely anxious about these acceptance letters. The deadline is fast approaching (January 15th!)

I am furiously researching YouTube for tips on organizing, motivation and things to do before I even start. For one thing I believe I will get in. It's the most important thing I feel, if you don't think you can do it you just won't. With that being said I'm going to give GTC my best. They will be counting on me and I them. So I plan on brushing up on my A&P and medical math all the way until I have something new to study. I'm not ashamed to admit I finished prereqs fall 2015 so a few years out I need to refresh. I plan on being as on fire for nursing as I was for prereqs. If I'm not, I will be planning to fail and I'm sure not planning to do that. I want it too much. So... wordy comment but that's me. What are you doing to ensure success? I would love to stay in contact with those of you. Until next time. ..

Hey everyone! I'm in...
