Georgia State University Nursing Fall 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi, has anyone submitted their application for fall 2017 semester yet?

I viewed the thread for Spring 2017, but didn't see anything for Fall semester.

I've submitted mine last week, and I'm scared already (yes, before they even start looking at the applications...). I applied to only the ACE track, but I'm afraid my grade is not good enough.....

GPA: 3.73

Science GPA: IDK

TEAS: 86

I volunteer at Northside Hospital and got my supervisor to write my letter of recommendation, does this earn me extra points on the application?

I'm a really bad writer, the part of the application I'm scared the most is my essay.... I wrote about the Affordable Care Act, I picked it on purpose cause it's a big thing, but now I'm scared...

For those who were recently accepted to the traditional track, when did the email say to accept/decline the offer by? I also got waitlisted and I just wanted to know when approximately i might hear something...

I haven't heard anything so I am rejected I guess, being a non traditional student it's hard for me to volunteer and work to support school and life. I have been saving for the nursing program knowing that I wouldn't be able to work much. I have a 4.0 for the last 60 credits I have attempted and one B and one C from 2005 when I went to school previously. I scored an 81.3 on teas. All sciences are an A.

I guess I will retake the teas this summer and apply for the next round, perhaps try to see if I can fit in some volunteer hours. Congrats to everyone who made it!

I'm a non traditional student too. As a working mother, it's hard for me to find time and energy to volunteer. Both my program and science GPA are great but my teas is not competitive. If I won't get in this semester, I'm going to reply for the next one. I'm very determined and I won't give up.

In my package, it says that I should reply by May 12th, and finish the PINS review by 19th.

I found it. It will be listed as a course on icollege. Just call her and let her know you sent it

It happened to me last semester but never give up. My volunteer hours were from my church because I could not do hospital since I am working. Try to have that at least.

Do we have a facebook group or something to better help each other out??
