Nursing Students School Programs

Is anyone applying to cal state east bay this fall for fall 2017 ???! nursing program

Nat2020 is right! I've spent so much time searching through forums and asking current nursing student about their stats. CSUEB requires a different Chem class compared to other campuses i'm applying to, so my GPA is a bit lower compared to my Pre-req GPA for other programs (I took this Chem class so long ago) :/

Prerequisites GPA: 3.74

TEAS: 91.6

Good luck, guys!

Hi! We have very similar stats and Concord is 20 minutes from my house as well! Good luck getting a bit higher on the teas. My 87.3% was my second attempt so I'm stuck with that score. I also have stalked previous years stats... I feel like I'm on the border between getting in and being waitlisted...it's so nerve wracking. Come on May, I'm ready to know already!! Is anyone applying to other schools? I am applying to Solano, Merrit, and Los Medanos, but CSUEB is my number one choice!!

Same here, I feel like i'll be waitlisted for CSUEB. I'm applying to Sac State and SJSU as well!

Sac state is so competitive. I just applied to their spring start and missed the cumalitive cut off score by 1 point. You have a great TEAS score though. SJSU is too far from me unfortunately. I have kids, so travel time is definitely a consideration of mine. What is your first choice school?

What was your GPA & TEAS for Sac State if you don't mind me asking? I have a 4.0 GPA with Sac State since they're accepting a different Chem Class from my school, so I feel like my chances are higher with them - at least I hope so, Sac State's my first choice :) I have kids as well and so far Sac State and SJSU are the top choices for me since I have houses in both cities.

I have a 3.89 GPA and got a 87.3% on the TEAS. I had one B in a 5 unit chem class which dropped my GPA. I'm a straight A student beside that class. I was so close to getting in. Even just a couple points higher on the TEAS I would have made it. The commute would have been awful for me though, so I think things happen for a reason. East Bay is going to be by far the best and most convenient school for me. What was your score for the TEAS?

I got a 91.6. One B effects the prereq GPA so drastically!

I would say with those stats you'll definitely have a seat at Sac!

Hey!

I am currently a student at East Bay and applied for the fall 2017 program.

It is extremely competitive but you all look like you have good scores!

Lets hope we get in!

GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 92%

Hi everyone! I'll join in on the discussion. I've been stalking stats on this site for the past year and a half. Haha!

Here are my stats:

GPA 4.0

TEAS 88%

I am going to take the TEAS again in February. How many of you took the computerized version? I took the paper/pencil version, but I'm wondering if I might be more comfortable with the computer version. Any advice?

If I do get into CSU East Bay, I am hoping for the Concord Campus, as I live in Concord. Good luck everyone!

Oh, you're a shoe in! :)
