City Tech Spring 2018 - What are my chances...

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey guys, hope everything is going well for everyone.

I was just wondering if anyone with experience with/from City Tech in New York could give me an idea about my chances of getting admitted to nursing in Spring 2018. I transferred to the school but I have to wait until Spring to apply for Nursing because I still need to take the TEAS.

My pre-req grades are as follows,

English (my English 1 credit was considered too old so I can use English 2 to sub) : A

Math : B- (screwed up :( )

A&P : A

Psych : A+

I'm studying for the TEAS now and I think I can do well on it, but I hear they only look if you passed or not and then go by your GPA.

I registered for Child Psychology for the fall semester while I study for TEAS and plan to apply for Spring 2018.

Can anybody tell me what my chances are and if there's anything I can do to improve them? I feel like my Math grade is gonna kill my application...

Thank You!

You should still apply no matter what. Every semester their criteria is different on accepting students. So just apply and be positive. The hardest part is staying in the program, getting in is super easy.

Good Luck
