Hi Everyone!

I was wondering if any other aspiring future nurses out there are applying to Azusa Pacific's Entry-Level Masters program for spring 2018. I applied a couple of weeks ago and it would be awesome to chat with others who are in the same boat. I've been an avid reader on this site for a very long time and this is my first post.

Heard back yesterday with an acceptance to the main campus but I'm giving up my spot. Good luck everyone!

I am also weighing my options towards APU and some other programs. May I ask you why you are giving up your spot?

Has any one called the IE campus by any chance?

Mcoc18, I applied to the main campus and also did not hear back. A while ago, the program rep said that if we didn't hear from admissions for an interview, it didn't mean that we were rejected. But at this point, I don't see how that is possible. I emailed her today to ask about the status of my application and she said that the department is still reviewing applications, which is contrary to the mass e-mail that was sent today about admissions being announced :(

I actually interviewed at the IE campus mid-April, but have not heard back since. From reading previous threads, it seems that the IE campus doesn't hear back about admissions decisions until the 3rd week of May. So until then, I'll be anxiously checking my email and this forum every hour! I guess my advice to you is to not lose hope until you have a definite answer. Also, this program is unique in that they accept 3 times a year. So if we don't get in this time around, there is always summer term! And from reading previous threads, it seems that most people were able to get in the second time so that takes off some pressure when I think about it like that. Don't lose hope!

If I don't hear back from the IE campus by this Friday, I'll probably call and ask to see what the status on decisions is. For those of you who have been accepted, what are the next steps for you guys to take?

Hi everyone! I applied to the main campus for spring 2018 start and i was accepted into the fall 2018 cohort, did this happen to anyone else??

Hello all. I also applied to the main campus - had an interview in April. My interviewer told me I scored high, was a strong candidate and "might get to even start an earlier session since all my prerequisites were done" yet I haven't heard back. Considering people have already been accepted I called my program rep who told me "they are still deciding and I should here back this week or very soon". That makes me think I didn't get in, since obviously they've already offered spots to people. Does anyone know if they send a mass email to all the accepted or if it's on an idividual basis (i.e. If I didn't get an email do I still have a chance of being accepted this term)? Thanks and congrats to those accepted.

So I decided to call for the IE campus and they told me I got accepted for the fall of 2018. They said they're gonna send out letters soon to everyone. They didn't mention anything via email. If you want to know about your status before the letter are sent out I suggest calling.

Congrats KNgirl! I just called the IE campus and they told me that they were still deliberating and didn't have decisions yet. I asked when they would make their decision and was told within the next 3 weeks. Who did you speak with to get this info?

Congrats KN girl! Do you mind sharing your stats? Are all of your prereqs complete? I'm applying for the IE campus soon, I was hoping for summer, but if they are already filling Fall. I'm probably looking at 2019 😕. Anyways, just want to know how much GPA matters. Congrats again! !!!

My gpa wasn't a 3.0 so I'm on that provisional contract thing for fall 18 I have all but 2 pre-reqs done I'm finishing up one of the last 2 right now. Good luck on your journey! (:

That's amazing! Thank you for sharing :) Okay, I might still apply lol I was feeling discouraged because my gpa is only around 3.5 BUT no Healthcare experience. So I'm lost. Anyways thank you! And Congrats! !!
