Anyone Go to University of Louisiana Lafayette?

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I'm currently looking into this program. I submitted my application. The funds to complete by BSN online with this school is affordable. I just want to know if anyone is currently working on their BSN online/physically at this school and some ideas if I should go forward if accepted. Pro's Con's or anything. I talked to the program counselor on the phone and he was very helpful but when I asked about graduation rates regarding the program he wouldn't give me any exact numbers which worried me. I want to complete my BSN without the big hassle of realizing I chose the wrong place to go. Any advice or insight would be appreciated! :)

Hi!

I just started at University of Louisiana Lafayette this May and so far I enjoy it. The program is extremely organized and they communicate well to ensure that you have all the information you need. It is very independent, they provide you with a syllabus and a calendar for when your assignments are due but it is up to you to keep on top of the work.

I am in Nur 353 which is simply an orientation course and there are 2 easy quizzes that you need to complete as well as creating a profile. Nur 354 is the first real course which has 2 discussion posts, 2 papers (2-3 pages), a final paper (3-5 pages), weekly quizzes which are on the two chapters of required reading every week.

I think it is a great program. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Thanks for responding. It definatly made me feel better about moving forward with this school. I'm glad its going well for you! :) I found some other posts regarding this school as well and it doesn't seem too bad. I did a lot of online classes before getting accepting into the Nursing program so I know I have the motivation to get through them and stay on task just wanted to make sure the teachers and content seems organized :)

Awesome! Good Luck!
