    I am considering taking some intercession classes as well. Has anyone taken sociology?

    edukan offers a cultural anthropology course. I think a 4 week session starts in December. i am doing a microbiology course there now and really like it and the professor is more than accommodating!

    Which micro class are your doing? I need that...maybe in january! any prereq?

    I think I might do the Cultural Anthropology in December with Edukan, will depend on my funds. I have a ton of birthdays and Christmas, so it might just have to wait until summer. Good to know about Edukan.

    It depends on what college you go through. They are affiliated with about 5 kansas city colleges,at first I chose Barton to have my transcripts from Edukan sent to, they required ALGEBRA to take Micro, I then chose Colby and they did not require any prereq's for microbiology. The lab is all online,virtual lab and is pretty cool. it is a 5 credit class. Just finished week 2 and holding an "A" so far. You have to make comments on others posts,a quiz a week a midterm and a final and do a 'virtual lab' every week. If you do the review questions those are what is on the quizzes. Take my Professor "JW" he does everything to help you do well.

    Oh I didn't realize that! Thanks for the helpful hints. I've been looking at univ. of phoenix.....will have to look here!

    It is a 8 week class and I think cheaper then UOP. Any questions give me a holler.!

    I didn't realize Educan did shorter classes. I thought they were all the full length ones. I looked into them for Chem and it's 16 weeks. I'll have to check into it for Cross Cultural in case I decide not to do the Intersession.

    Yes they do shorter classes and it is $130/credit which isn't bad. So far once you get use to the format it is pretty easy to navigate. i am taking micro in 8 weeks so a little 'labor intensive'

    I'll have to check it out for Cross Cultural. It comes out to around the same cost as intersession, and a 4 week class would be perfect. I'd like to get it done before May, since I may be starting NP school in June, if I get into the program I'm applying for.
