Seems that 2 of the OU campuses (Southern and Chillicothe) are among the leaders in having the lowest undergraduate graduation rates among public colleges in the US. I would hope the that the main (Athens) campus rates are higher but then again, OU beat out Penn State this year for number 1 party school so who knows. Another Ohio school, Kent State, also has 2 campuses on the list with even lower rates.
While Ohio leads the nation in having 4 of the top (bottom) 11 colleges in terms of graduation rate, even the worst Ohio school has a rate more than two times better than the worst school (Southern University in LA), which managed to graduate a whopping 4% of their students. Interestingly, Southern's acceptance rate is 48%, which begs the questions: Where do the 52% of their unsuccessful applicants go and what kind of graduation rates do those schools have?

Although to be honest, I've heard the same complaint from pretty much everyone I have ever spoke with in any RN-BSN program, no matter what the school was.OU's online BSN completion program is completely busy work. - Jun 25, '12 by JZ_RNWell, there were small things that I find useful, and I'm not done with it yet, took summer off... but it seems to be more focused on "can you write an APA citation" than anything that I can really take away and use in nursing so far. My ADN program covered the cross-cultural stuff so it was like retaking a class.

Jun 25, '12 by michelemybellI must agree....I don't think I am learning as much as I had hoped/planned. I think it's a combo of some repetitive information and the fast pace of 5 weeks. Sometimes I just want to get the work done! I also wonder if I would have received a better education at Drexel....but those idiots wouldn't accept all of my credits...I needed 97 credits for them (semester) and I have the ADN from Hahnemann (the program Drexel took over) so go figure. But I chose the cost and convenience of OU.
