Anyone else taking Assessment for Fall third session?

Suggestions from anyone who has taken it already?

Anyone else thinking about using their significant other for their client? Know of any reason why we shouldn't?

My TA said it can be friend or family

Specializes in Med/Surg, Neuro, ICU, travel RN, Psych.

I planned on using the same 20/20, as it is the one relevant to my job. As long as you are not submitting the same work, I don't see how it would matter. It's a different class, with different TA's and instructor.

I figured I would use my hubby, that or my next door neighbor.

what are we comparing for our health promotion lifestyles, where do I find these.....Im going absolutely nuts, read both articles from Pender, no list of any sort, am I overlooking????? Dont want the answers, just direction on where to find some info

I e-mailed my TA with that same question. Haven't heard back yet.

Same here... There is no positive lifestyle list. When I re read the articles today, I did see a list of sorts on pg 23... maybe that is what we are supposed to be using. But I am totally guessing.

What case study resource are we supposed to purchase?

When I did the link given to us for elsvier, it just made me register, didn't have to pay, asked me what school I belonged to and such.

So you can see the case studies?

You are making this way too hard on yourself. Healthy lifestyles means, nutrition, exercise, modifying behaviors such as smoking etc. In other words...we want to prevent issues not treat issues after the fact. They are just asking you, personally, what you do or do not do to prevent illness in your life. In other words how are you being proactive. If you look at the first article (not the Pender article) they give you a list of healthy issues that were promoted on the job for older workers. PLUS Health People 2020 addresses these things as well.

I'm in the same boat, only have one of the books, the other one Nurse as Educator seems to be MIA. I've tried 3 different vendors on Amazon, Chegg and College Book Renters all with no luck. One on Amazon gave me an estimated delivery date of Dec 7... Ohio Univ Book store doesn't even have it. I'm waiting on the 4th try with an Amazon seller/used Hope I can manage without it until it gets here.

I know we are not using it the first week.

I feel dumb for asking, but looking at the readings for week 1, the Risk Factors and Lifestyles on Healthy People 2020? When I go to the link I'm not seeing the Risk Factors and lifestyles, am I looking right at it?
