Toledo pay scales?

U.S.A. Ohio

Published

Hi,

I am an RN in Fresno, California. Next year I am planning to move to Toledo, OH because my husband is a fighter pilot and will be taking a job at the fighter unit there. I currently work in the trauma ICU at the level one trauma center here, and I will have about 5 years of experience, plus CCRN certification by the time I make the move. I hope to work in a level one trauma center in Toledo as well.

My biggest question is, what can I expect to be making in Toledo? I currently make 31/hr, and I work nights and every other weekend, which adds the $3 differential for those hours. I know that Toledo pays less, but I need a rough idea of how much so that I can properly work out a tentative budget and decide how much home we can afford.

Any honest answers would be greatly appreciated, and feel free to add any information you want to give regarding living in the area too. :)

P.S.

Nobody has to post what they personally make, I'm just looking for the typical hourly pay scale for a nurse that has about 5 years of critical care experience...

I was quoted 22-24$ +diff as staff and 30$ for internal agency within the promedica system, I will be living about 30 mins N of Toledo and commuting to Ann Arbor to work for U of M at the new CS Motts. We're moving from FL on Nov 4th and can't wait, for me it's going home as I was raised in SE MI and all my family is still there. The first winter might be a bit rough after living in FL the past 7-1/2 years lol http://www.promedica.org/ (when you go to job listings, keep in mind that Bixby & Herrick are in MI)
