I live in Georgetown. I graduated for Great Oaks of Practical Nursing on August 10. I took the NCLEX two weeks ago. Now on to job hunting, I am just not sure where I want to work. What about you, where are you from? Pam Condo

i just took a position this week. not real sure what i am supposed to being doing but i guess thats part of my learning experience. it seems like there was so much stress in school but noe everything is a little to laid back. i am sure this feeling is only temporary, so i guess i'll enjoy it while i can. i just feel out of place......:rolleyes:

What kind of facility did you get a job in? LTC? Hospital? group home?

i am working for hospice of hope. i have had a great week so far. i am very please with the staff and i love the one on one care i get to give.

congrats on the new job pam! i'm glad you're enjoying it..... i managed to get myself back into school (trying to avoid my psyche assignment at the moment) but haven't done any serious looking for a job.... i have a couple of leads in the cincinnati area but with school being in dayton, that tends to be a lot of driving. unfortunately, hospitals in dayton, don't seem to hire lpn's at all......
