Looking for a new grad program anywhere in Ohio

U.S.A. Ohio

Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking for new grad programs anywhere in Ohio. I am from California, but I do have my Ohio RN license and zero experience. Seeing as there's no luck in California right now for new grads, I decided the best thing for me to do would be to go out of state. I've gone through the threads and saw that Promedica, Cleveland Clinic, and Ohio State University offer new grad programs. Google did not give me much results.

Does anyone know of any other hospitals or schools that have new grad programs? Or what hospitals are hiring new grads? I'm definitely willing to move anywhere in Ohio.

Also, what is the average pay? How is the job outlook going over there?

Thanks for the help!

Hello Javelina,

I am currently in CA and will be moving to Dayton, OH sometime in Aug/Sept this yr (2014) bc hubby is active duty air force. I was wondering how was your job search experience. I'm finishing up my BSN in Aug this yr and plan on taking the NCLEX at OH sometime in Sept/Oct/Nov pending how quick the test arrangement is. I have 1 yr experience as a student nurse technician at the VA and previous healthcare experience as a pharm tech. Any advice would be much appreciated!
