Violence & Bully Presentation IdeasRegister Today!
- by nazzyrocks Jan 12Hey everyone!
My group and I are doing a presentation on workplace violence and horizontal bullying and it is expected to be around 45-1hour long. We are trying to think of creative ways to present this, we were planning on doing a powerpoint for about 20-30 minutes but we wanted to engage the class in some way. I feel like we have done a lot of the typical stuff such as games and videos and skits but we want the class to really enjoy this presentation! Anybody have any suggestions on how to make this interesting and creative?
- Jan 12 by esigler81I had a class presentation to do last semester, and my group made it like the Today show. Each section we were talking about was a segment. Our class really loved it, and it was a lot more interesting than listening to an hour long PowerPoint.

My thinking would be something along the lines of a quiz. Maybe do questions that have to do with your topic. When people raise their hands only call on 1-2 people and make it obvious you're leaving others out, maybe even make comments about not calling on people who ALWAYS answer to give someone else a chance. Of course it would be followed up that you want to show how easily horizontal violence can occur.
This is just a thought but I've found interacting with the audience (when possible) will really keep them involved and interested. Good luck!

There are plenty of patient/family examples of violence in the workplace too... And nurse managers sometimes bully their staff...my old nurse managers did.
