    well I feel slighted. When I heard her speak it was with candles, no bells or chanting. MMMMMMMMMM

    We use her theory in our facility, but only as a background to our overall nursing philosophy. We have incorporated the values derived from the caring concepts as our values (stewardship, integrity, etc). Frankly, I prefer Ida Jean Orlando's theory because it works in all sorts of disciplines. You assess, diagnose, plan, intervene and then re-evaluate. Makes more sense to me.
