I cant seem to think of any interventions that I can write up for muscle dystonia except for a few. Ones that I have so far are

-Turn every 2 hours.

-Check skin integrity.

-Maintain client safety.

-Help with ADL's

p.s. My patient can't move on his own.

How about doing passive range of motion to decrease risk of contractures or to prevent them from worsening?

Dont know much about your patient but..hope that helps.

Try doing a google search on muscle dystonia and see what you come up with. It can give you useful information about the disease and ways to help manage symptoms.

Nutrition would be an issue since the pt presumably can't feed himself?

I just got done with him, overall it went pretty smooth.
