I am in need of someone to look at a practice problem that I am working on for an upcoming dosage calc. test that I have coming up next week to see if I am on the right track for solving the problem and if I am not on the right track can you direct this weary nursing students path?

On hand is a 1 gram vial that reads: "Add 2 mL of diluent to provide a total solution of 2.5 mL." The instructions for IVPB administration suggest adding the Mefoxin to 100 mL of D5W to be administered over 1 hour. The drop factor of the IV set is 60 drops per mL.
How many mL of Mefoxin 1g/2.5 mL should be added to the 100 mL of D5W?
my answer : 2 mL is this right?

How many drops per minute should the IVPB infuse? 100 gtt/min is this right?
xgtts/min=100 ml/hr x 60 gtts/ml x 1hr/60 mins = 100 gtts/min is this right?
What hourly rate should be set on the electronic infusion device? 100 mL/hr is this right?
I tried not to use all of the info but just what I thought was important, but just not too sure if I am doing it right! Thank you in advance for any assistance given!
