Hi. I am doing a breast cancer teaching project. Anyone have any suggestions on what I could "make" to resemble a lump in a breast?

What are you making the breast out of? This will greatly influence what the mass should feel like..............or what to use.... :)
Remember that some of the major differences will be if the lump can move or is it fixed? How hard is it? Shape of it?

Look for rubber cement in an Arts & Crafts store

What about using some type of gelatin/silly putty in a baggie for the breast( might need to play with the mixture for firmness) & then clay for the lump?? Then you can adjust size, shape, texture. Good Luck.

A while ago at nursing school they gave me a breast cancer awareness beaded necklace. But duh! I threw it away thinking I would never need it again. But, it was simple... a string ... with several sizes of wooden beads... the kind you can get at any craft arts store. The different sizes had a key that indicated if it was a benign cyst or a tumor ect.
