I am starting clinicals this fall. Since shoe comfort is at the top of my list, I thought I would get started early because I have goofy feet.
One foot is quite different from the other so one of them is going to have a certain level of discomfort. I can accept that, but I'm working against the curve of selection because of my maleness(is that a word?). Men's feet are so different I think I have my work cut out for me.
Anyone know of a medical supplier of male nursing shoes?

If you can wear tennis shoes, New Balaance is a pretty good shoe, and some of the styles go up th 4EEEE width. If not, then
do a search for SAS shoes, a little pricey, but worth every penney.
Do Not scrimp on shoes, you will regret it towards the end of the day.

...if you can afford them...sas are the best & the styles aren't bad either!!!
i once broke my right foot & the orthopedic physician prescribed them...you can buy them without a prescription of course...but if you have really good medical coverage, it might pay to have a doc prescribe them & your coverage may even pay for them...mine did :wink2:.
good luck & happy wearing!!!

Went back to the basics... after suffering needlessly. I bought a pair of SAS and a pair of the new Birkenstocks that are labeled as AlPro (they have the same cork sole).
Oh so comfortable and we are worth every penny spent!

I like Birkenstock super birki clogs. Go to http://www.birkenstock.com too see them
Great website for Birks, Kewl. I just got the AlPro C120 in Birks. The Clogs you got look great too. I will try those sometime.
After you exchange tax for shiping charge they are often equal.
Thank you all for the replies!
Clogs?.......Oh man, temptingly comfortable, but ..........oh jeeze.......

Peeps -- check out the Birkenstocks. Get over the male "clog" thing -- your feet will thank you.
