Card III vs Master Classic II

I am staring CNA classes in about a month and I been doing research on stethoscopes out there, but I still dont know what to get; I also want to get something that will get me through CNA and NS and my job as a CNA/and orRN. Another question whats the difference have a two piece with bell when on the website of littmann the guy uses the one side for both uses?why not have one side and if what you think between my two choices (keep in mind I want it through my CNA and NS and possibly as an RN. Also I am concerned about the perks of having a double luman vs 1 and why would you need a dual vs a single

I would get a very basic scope for now. You're not going to be doing in-depth assessments such as listening critically to heart and lung sounds for some time. Save your $$ on the expensive scope until you are out of school and know what kind of department you will be working in.

I had a very basic Littman that served me well as a nursing student. I waited for quite a while till I sprung for a Master Cardiology, and those puppies are expensive; almost $200. Don't spend that much money right now; your $$ have better places to go.

well the purpose of buying a card 3 or even a master 2 is so I am not going to buy another scope for a while.....and like you said when i get my job I would maybe buy another or just stick with the card 3 so thats why i am investing in a card 3 right off the back

If you have the money to pay for one now, then that's your decision (though I wonder why you asked if your mind is set). Personally, I can't see spending all that money on a scope that you won't really be utilizing to the full until years from now. Anything could happen to it; you could lose it, it could be stolen, they do wear out (I just had to replace mine after 17 years). But if your heart is set on it, then do what you want to do.

yea i understand that lol i heard that so many times it almost makes me want to buy one just to see if i happens.....lol but thanks but could u answer why ppl have dual side or single? and yea I dont mind scarfing over the evtra money if its somthing that will do me good over the years.^__^

Single sided acts as dual depending on how much pressure you apply. It's more important for hearing different heart and lung sounds.
