i bought an Adscope-lite it was a about 20 dolor scope, but my 2nd scope will be a master classic II, same reasons so I dont lose one and 2 so i can get basic beats and learn those and than compare them to other beats

Littmann Classic II S.E. I've had it from my first day of nursing school and I absolutely love it.

Would highly suggest looking at medisave.net, after all my searching and looking around... they had the cheapest pricing and engraving too!(:

When I started nursing school I splurged a little bit and bought a littmann cardiology 2. It's pricey but I used it as motivation to get through school and get alot of use out of it. It sounds beautiful, plus they come in pretty colors

Check out: Jazooli Medical EMT Dual Head Stethoscope for Pro Nurse Doctor Vet Student Health - Pink: Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care

Seems a little cheap but the reviews are positive. How expensive can a Stethoscope really be when you think about the material used to make them.

I recently purchased a Littmann Classic II S.E. from MyStethoscope.com. They had the best price I could find if you factor in their free engravings on Littmann stethoscopes.

I love the Littman Master Cardiology. This is the exact one that I have here: http://goo.gl/AmJwnb I've been a nurse for 4 years and working on a tele unit for the past two. Most of our cardiologists use the same one and ask to borrow mine when they leave theirs elsewhere. Just be sure you keep an eye on them until they give it back! I would avoid the cheep ones unless you lose thing easily. I hear so much clearer!

In my program we got our stethoscopes however; it's the Rappaport/sprague one I believe and we were told we can purchase our own however; I don't know if I want to get a Littmann or a Prestige Medical one and I've read good reviews on both. Secondly, would it be encouraged to purchase my own?
