How is home care?
I'm a nursing student who will be working as a cna and I am potentially going into home care CNA work. I really am not a fan of it(fairly biased towards emergency medicine sorry) but I'm wondering is it really as bad as I am worrying? How are the typical patients?

Nursing student getting cna
So I'm a nursing student & I'm going to a diff school for my cna (ccri) I'm wondering what their scrubs are for the cna class and if I have to get new ones just for that class? I really don't want to especially if I'm only using them for a few weeks.

CCRI CNA class scrub policy
i find that to be semi irritating but I also see the point of wanting uniformity. I have my schools maroons and I hope it's just scrub top has to be white.

CCRI CNA class scrub policy
So I'm a nursing student & I Already have my scrubs and stethoscope, etc for my classes. However for the CNA class, what is the scrubs policy? Can I wear my regular scrubs for the class or do I have to use the ones given/bought?

How does one gain experience if experience is required?
maybe it's just preferential but if someone comes in and they're willing to work hard it's accepted

How does one gain experience if experience is required?
This is actually gave me hope. Thank you so much!!!! i think what I will do is apply to multiple places whether they say "experience needed" or not. I'll bring up my volunteer experience, I'll talk about my drive. I'll talk about how hiring me will be the best choice ever, yes it'll sound egotistical, but I want to strive and learn and work hard no matter the location.

What was the moment you knew you wanted to become a nurse?
Or when I was told I'd be a great nurse when I went out of my way to get someone a chair.

Living off CNA salary.
CNA's in RI typically make around 24k a year; could I live off of that in an apartment and still go to college for my ADN-BSN?
