I want the best shoes. i will be working 12s for the first time. I have bunions and want to be comfortable.

I see so many nurses wearing Crocs. Are they really comfortable?

lovelovelove my Crocs... only work 10's but never have foot pain with them. :)

I love my Crocs! I have had multiple injuries to my left ankle making it hard to stand for a 12h shift, and this is by far the most nursing shoe I have worn! Also, they are so light weight that you don't even feel them on! Can't beat the price either!

I wear Crocs. I really liked them a lot at first, don't like them as much now. In fact I just bought a new pair of shoes today. I think they wear out faster than most shoes. Also my feet sweat a lot in them. My feet just recently started hurting at the end of my shift.

The best shoes i have ever worn and my feet have NEVER hurt, and i work 12's are Sketchers and New Balance

Sketcher's made my legs hurt, and i'm still trying to find a pair of NB that are comfortable.

I wear Dansko's and I like them pretty well - they are expensive and are hell before you break them in the first day or two, but after that I think they are pretty good. My feet still hurt at the end of a 12, though. . . this might be becuz I'm not used to being of my feet for so long anymore . . . since they're apparently cheap, I may try a pair of the crocs now.

Try on a pair of Crocs before you buy them. I did and was surprised at the fit. Totally not for me! They have more room in the big toe area and not enough room for the other toes because the shoes I tried on slanted down rather than stayed round on the toe end. As a result my middle toes hit the end. The next size up was too big to wear.

Are they the cheap one you can buy at Payless now? That's what our nurses wear.

New balance 811's are my favorite shoes :coollook:
