I'll be at the metro campus too. I'd like to find a place that is convenient to the school but also with access to night life and nature too.

I don't even know why I am still pursuing this place. They are completely disorganized. I got 2 more letters today added to the other 6 letters that makes a total of 8 letters. Each is identical stating they have my application but need my transcripts. Funny how both my application and my transcripts were in the same envelope and were signed for on March 4.

I have sent emils to "E" but he had to forward them on. When I didn't hear anything I asked "E" for the email direct and now I have sent two additional emails with no response.

How can these people just ignore their emails.

I don't even know why I am still pursuing this place. This has got to be the most disorganized organization I have ever had to deal with in my entire life.

I have no idea how they even have students.

This school is driving my blood pressure off the charts!

And how do they not know their NCLEX pass rate. Every school I have applied to I have asked that and every single school knows their exact pass rate by program and year. There are way too many fishy things about this place.

Due to a lot of spam getting sent site requirements now mean you must have 15 or more posts to be able to send a pm, however you can read any pm's sent to you

If the school in Nevada costs 32,000 I didn't look into it. There was another ABSN progrm in Nevada that is part of the group that offers a tuition discount if you live in a neighbor state like CA and it was A LOT cheaper. If you are willing to pay 32,000 for a Nevada school why not 34,000 for Drexel. They have a 97% NCLEX pass rate and their program is the absolute quickest in the country at 11 months for an ABSN.

I would look into it. I was accepted but they are last on my list. I want warm and cheap, not expensive and cold. I am OK with spending another year in school.

The cost of living in Henderson, NV is only about 50% that of Socal. I don't know when the deadlin for Drexel is/was for this Fall but I can guarantee that my fiancee would not be down with moving to Philly - not even a little bit.

Yeah I didn't think there may be other people involved in your decision. Your fiancee is OK with moving to San Juan?

I can move anywhere I like and I don't have to consult with anyone.

Well we all have different given circumstances, don't we.

My fiancee is "ok" living anywhere that is required - she's originally from Central America but used to live in Henderson. I spent my life jumping between Philly, LA, Ohio, London, Colorado and Puerto Rico (when I was a wee one). I can agree with your urge to be in a warm place. San Fran has the lowest annual average temperature of ANY big city in America. I do like beaches too AND Mountains. If Hawaii was a little cheaper and had more schools - it would be the perfect place to live and study in the USA. What I love and will probably miss about CA is the concept of being able to drive to whatever climate one likes; especially if you live down here.

    Hi Everyone,

I'm in the process of applying to Inter and wanted to share my experience. I applied online a couple weeks ago after learning about the ABSN program from a woman from the school of nursing. She was very unprofessional and had a bit of an attitude. For some reason she had a hard time believing that I had taken 3 years of Spanish in high school.I don't know what that was about. Anyways, she had to keep telling me to hold on while she yelled across the room in Spanish to get my question answered. She referred me to "E" but gave me the wrong phone number. Luckily I was able to find his contact information through some of the links posted on this thread.

On the upside, I received a follow up email within 2 weeks of submitting my application asking for supplementary information like my official transcripts and copy of my social security card. I was surprised at how fast the email arrived based on what's been posted on this thread. They sent me a brochure that I thought was helpful in answering some of the questions people have been asking.

    Here's the link: http://www.metro.inter.edu/englishtr..._trimester.pdf

Based on what I've heard about the admissions process and my own experience with admissions, this school is last on my list. I have to admit however, that it's hard to the resist the thought of learning Spanish and studying on a tropical island.
