Hey guys

I found this Nursing School (ADN & BSN) program with NO waiting list. This school is in Puerto Rico and is Accredited. The next class is starting in next month (AUG). I call them today and I'm planing to go over there on Monday July 30th to do the application process and the enterview to start the program. If you are interested PM me for info.

PS: you are on your own for accommodation and everything else.

Specializes in ENT, NH LTAC, WOUND CARE.

There are some schools here in the US with no wait list. Pretty expensive, but they are fast rack and have no wait list. I can't remember exactly but I have a few post that list them and their cost. Go to advance search and type in user name NEWATTHIS. check out the older post there.

To name a few: Medical Career Institute, Sanford Brown College, Concord career College, Brown-Mackie, Prima, Platt, there is one in Missouri that is associated with a Hospital ( can't think of thename of it, something like SW missouri Hosp.)

If you like you can PM me for more info.

I agree that there are several schools in the US that do not have a waiting list. However, they are very expensive and not very reputable. I know from experience that MOST Universities in Puerto Rico are accredited and the credits obtained are transferrable to another University . Places like Concorde Career Colleges, University of Phoenix fail to mention that because they give their students credit for experience most of their credits are not tranferrable to other Universities.

Oh!!!! Also, in Puerto Rico our primary language is Spanish. But is a requirement for students to take an english class EVERY YEAR.

Um...my accredited nursing school in the mainland US has no wait list, neither do most other BSN programs. We have a 96% NCLEX pass rate, and are public and inexpensive. It is, however, extremely competitive. I go to USF in Tampa, but I don't believe any public universities in Florida or Louisiana have waiting lists.

You are right USF here in Tampa and other public universities in the US do not have a waiting list.

But, correct me if I'm wrong!!!!

If you are not choosen after submitting your first application. Do you have to reapply??? or are you placed in the "Alternate list" ( if someone doesn't respond you then will have opportunity to join the program.)

Please let me know

I will be applying at USF sometime in the near future.:lol2:

Thanks

Our schol (Big Bend Community College, Moses Lake, Wa 98837. ADN program) Also has no waiting list. They did away with it 2 years ago. Anyone who applies and is rejected must reapply the following year. After they fill thier slots there is a 'pool' (referred to as a waiting list) incase another slot comes open in that year that they applied, but then it's all washed out. Also, there is no punishment for retaking any classes. They accept solely based on highest grade in each pre-and corequisites (a points based system).

Specializes in ER, ICU, L&D, OR.

Look at the wonderfull beaches and golf courses all around you

Kind of like going to school to get a vacation and a tan

Hi! I go to USF. If you are denied admission, you have to reapply for the next term. There are no waiting or alternate lists. They admit solely on overall GPA. Good luck on getting in!
