    What are a list of popular meds that are used in nursing homes, hospitals, rehab hospitals that require a BP check?

    You will want to check the bp and hr before any bp meds are given. There are so many bp meds. You will learn as you give them on a daily basis. There is no way to make a list of this.

    ace inhibitors
    beta blockers
    ca channel blockers
    etc... start with those

    I look up any drugs I'm not familiar with before giving them. If it has anything at all to do with BP or HR, I check both before I give them, and I chart it. That's just my rule for myself. I also chart a BP anytime I give narcotics.
