Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

I'm researching online RN-BSN programs, and think I've narrowed it down to U of Wyoming or U of Wisconsin BSN linc. I'm going to have the summer off from the ADN program,so I'd like to complete some of the classes towards my BSN. It's my understanding that with U of Wy you have to complete 120 or so credits outlined in there curriculum, whereas with the BSN linc you start with 60 credits for your RN and go from there for the next 60. Is that correct? For example, my A&P were 3 credit hours each, whereas U of Wy wants 4 each. So... for U of Wy I would have to retake A&P if they won't accept mine, while BSN ling on the other hand just gives the flat 60 for having your RN so you wouldn't have to retake any clases. Atleast thats how I understand. Someone in the know please help me.

I would suggest that you contact Susie Hager with UWYO. She is my advisor and I have had a few friends to call her or email her and ask questions about the program. She is very nice and helpful. Almost all of my previous classes transferred. There is an 800 # on the wedsite. Call it and ask to speak with Susie Hager.

thank you!
