anyone know anything about 'RUE Education'. thinking about going on for my RN degree thru them..........thanx for any info you can give on this!!

I have an associate degree and considering BSN from Excelsior. I'd like to use Study guide from publishing company. And Here I found a positive comment about Chancellor's study guide. Do you know whether Chancellor also have study guide for Bachelor's ? not only ADN? If not, do you know any other company who does that?

Deegale,

I am very surprised that you had a bad experience with admissions at Excelsior. I found them to be very helpful and pleasant any time I needed help. Just goes to show that there are bad apples in every bunch. Just remember, you will still need to deal with Excelsior at some point because they are the ones that you will earn your degree from.

I hope you did not do it they are so not needed and just bank robbers thats all they r!

As many warnings that are posted on a regular basis on this site, there will still be posts from people who are signing up to pay money to publishing companies and want to talk about it. If they had done research on this site only, prior to signing on the dotted line, they could save themselves a lot of grief in many cases.

I read the stories about challenges with Excelsior and some companies, but the coworkers that I've talked to have had good experiences with Excelsior College and Rue Education. The classes are no walk in the park. You will have to work for the degree, but that's what we all want ... to learn, grow, and become better nurses ... right?

It may depend on the person. Some willing to pay for a prepared learning format...others would rather save their money and do the research.
