Are there RN-to-BSN programs or MSN programs without clinical, preceptor, or practicum requirements?

Let’s get this list started!

Chamberlain's RN-to-BSN has no clinicals, but their MSN does.

Excelsior's RN-to-BSN has no clinicals, but their MSN does.

American Sentinel University's MSN has no clinicals. Their RN-to-BSN does.

UTA's RN-to-BSN does Not have clinicals. Their MSN does have clinicals.

FHCHS's RN-to-BSN does Not have clinicals. FHCHS does not currently have an MSN program.

UTA's RN-to-BSN does Not have clinicals. Their MSN does have clinicals.

This is generally true of all RN to BSN or MSN programs. Others I'm familiar with that are in the same category are Ohio, Temple and . If you do a search, you'll find a list of all of the RN-BSN programs already exists. Not sure about RN-MSN.

The moral of the story is that it is feasible to do the RN-BSN on-line (some schools may have a minimal clinical reqt, often just an observation) but probably not the RN-MSN since you are often responsible for setting up your own clinical rotations with minimal help from the school.

Is there a list of all RN-BSN programs (without clinicals) that "already exists"?

Could you post the link or post the title (and date) of the thread?

Thanks

No clinicals for Ohio University's online RN-BSN.

Their online MSN has clinical requirements.

I'm not sure about that. My RN-BSN had practicum requirements that necessitated a clinical site. Several other RN-BSN programs in my state do as well.
