RN to BSN programs

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

I graduated from an ADN RN program almost one year ago. Now that I've had time to recover from nursing school and adjust to working the floor, I am thinking about pursuing my BSN. I am becoming more interested in programs that are on the internet. I've recently read that someone on this board (somewhere, can't remember where) was working through University of Phoenix. Anyone out there that can comment on this program? Thanks!

I have 14 Study Guides for the RN to BSN program from the college Network. All but 2 are still sealed in Shrink Wrap. I'm willing to sell Cheap! E-mail me at [email protected]

You might want to look into Indiana State University. Their online RN to BSN program is a fraction of that, about $6500 and they allow the RN to test out of any additional pre-reqs by taking CLEP exams. Since they are a title 4 school, you can use the government's Stafford student loan.

If the 25,000 price tag doesn't bother you then you'll be fine with U of P. Have you looked at Excelsior for their BSN? They also have a BS to MSN program. If you have a BS and a nursing license you can go right to the MSN for 42 hours of work and a price tag of about 14,000.

Trauma - congrats to you on finishing!!!!!!! :balloons: :balloons:

One day I will be where you are, but I have taken off some time from my program. Its all about the money now and I need to get enough funding to pay for my next class then I can continue on.

Good luck with your MSN. My nurse manager has just finished her MSN through UoP and she said it was wonderful! She is planning on going to Phoenix for graduation.
