Online RN programs, are these legitimate?

Nursing Students Online Learning

There are so many ads popping up on Allnurses.com for online RN-BSN programs, and I am wondering if any of you lovely Nurses (LPN/ LVN/ RPN) are enrolled in one or have completed one; Or, do you know of anyone directly who completed any of these programs?

Can you suggest a program that will accept Canadian diploma nurses (I have a 2 year college diploma in nursing & a bachelors degree)?

Just curious:

Specializes in Emergency Department, ICU.

I can tell you I did Excelsior's Program (not an LVN, but the program is also open to Paramedics which is what qualified me) and it is legitimate. I now work as an ER RN.

Specializes in Education, FP, LNC, Forensics, ED, OB.

That's amazing, congratulations!

I have a Canadian diploma RN-BScN degree, if you are working in Canada and want to have a degree to be competitive in the job market, a Canadain degree is preferable.

Thanks. I'm a little confused, though. Are you an LVN of some sort or a Canadian RN? You were referencing online RN to BSN programs but then you asked about LVNs who had done an online program....

I'm a Registered Practical Nurse (2-year college nursing program). I might have put some RN to BSN links in there by mistake.
