I would like input from those who have used either Hurst or Kaplan for the RN NCLEX review. Are the programs similar? Do they both provide review along with testing?
Please understand I am not looking to start a war :chair: just can't decide which review I would benefit most from.

i went to the hurst review. i got only 75 questions and passed. everything that marlene went over was on my test. it was worth the money.

I took the entirely online Kaplan course and like Vidrine, had 75 questions and passed
Kaplan had content review, strategies on how to answer the questions (even if you have NO clue) and tons of practice questions.
Kaplan is expensive though but I think its worth the $$$$ (then again passing NCLEX the first time is worth TONS! )

I *think* they also have Kaplan review courses that are held in person (not online). They are a couple hundred bucks, and they will let you take it again for free if you don't pass....no worries about you though, Opalm.

Yes, they have a live review. It actually costs a little more than Hurst. The three reviews I researched all have a money back guarantee and all have a 99% pass rate. I just finished the live Hurst review and absolutely loved it - along with the other 35 people in my class. It's awesome.:)
Ahhhh shucks Spazz, thanks:thankya:
I've been reviewing with "Marleeeeeeene" and I have to say other than cracking up every now and then, she is good for my way of learning.
December here I come!!
