I will start my RN-BSN online program soon (I hope).

My hospital gives $4K per year on tuition reimbursement, if we sign a year agreement after completing the program. ...... which is fine by me, since I do like the facility where I work.

I see a lot of people go thru private universities for the BSN degree.

just wondering, if you guys take advantage of the tuition reimbursement of your facility??

Hopefully, God willing I will start at the local state university, which is $100/credit

I did. Think of it this way: you most likely will not get paid more for having your BSN, so it may be worth it to have your employer pay for it. Reap the financial benefit of finishing your degree. Especially if you like working there. ;)

I will just go to the local state college wich is only $100 per credit. God willng I will ge accepted and take advantage of the tuition reimbursement.

because if I end up going to a private university I will have to take out loans.... which are not good for me

Sounds like a good plan. Good luck to you!
