Has anyone taken algebra online via CCC online . I have to have this dumb class and it's my 5 th time to take it. Yes I know shame on me ,but all others were in a class room setting and I figured since I did so well with online classes, I needed to give it a try before hanging up my desire to have a BSN.

Are you talking about CCCC in DFW? I did a while back. It was pretty straight-forward. Just do the homework and don't forget about the math lab for free help. I had to take the exams in the testing center.

No I was talking about Colordo Community college they have a bunch of online classes. Your talking about Collin County right. All this algebra talk is making me sick.

Yeah, but they do offer some online classes too. Know any good spots for online spades?

I took my algebra online at a CCC, but it was Chemeketa Community College in Salem, OR. I'm a math disaster and I was still able to get an A. Just do ALL the homework (every single problem) and if you get them wrong, just keep working them till you get them right. Well, that was my strategy anyway :)

For me, math is less about learning and more about practice.

Best of Luck!!!

I too took an Intermediate Algebra online with Chemeketa Community College. They really have the online thing down well; lots of online tools and support (and free lab if you live local, which I didn't) and good instructor communication. In contrast, I took Statistics online with Barstow Community College and it was an awful experience and felt like a teach-yourself-Statistics course. The instructor never replied to emails and homework problem questions and when she did, she was nasty to everyone (as if since it was an online course, she believed she wasn't expected to be disturbed). I have never set foot on either campus and both are really far from where I live, but they filled the need. I'd never take another Math online at Barstow (or any other course there if I can help it), but I HIGHLY recommend Chemeketa if anyone needs to take an online course- it was a really quality online experience!! (Not only that, but when you need to call the school, everyone speaks pleasantly to you and is very helpful.)
