Thanks everyone that replied, I have to be flying from phoenix to probably Albany, in October, so Im also looking at paying for airfare for two, more than likely I'm going alone, does it snow in Albany in October? :uhoh21::uhoh21::uhoh21:

Sometimes it snows in October! Usually nothing significant... At least I know it does in Buffalo, NY. I think Albany isn't quite by Lake Eerie, but more in the middle of the state... (great lakes are wonderful at giving us that lovely white dust). Either way, don't worry about a blizzard!

The first time I tested I had my mind set that I would go alone. That was before I knew that my nerves and anxiety would kill me and make it the worst three days of my life. I spent most of the time outside smoking (ALOT!), watching TV (I hate TV), studying (I spent every waking hour for a month studying. If I didn't know it at that point I wasn't going to learn it the night before) and trying to dream up a debilitating illness that would get me out of the test but wouldn't make me have to pay another $1800 (I couldn't think of anything).

So, in hindsight, me going alone---bad idea.

I took my wife the second time and the difference was night and day. Would I have passed my first time with my wife there? I'll never know.

If you think you'd be better off alone then go for it. If you need a buddy, bring them along for the ride (they can pitch in for gas). In the end, whatever makes you the happiest and whatever helps you to pass is all that matters.

I am not anywhere near to taking the CPNE, but I know that my husband will be coming with me, depending on the location

My boyfriend went with me. I didn't want to go alone. It was a 5+ hour drive and he helped keep me sane!
