Ok so what should I include in my written statement?

I am applying for a CNA position in a nursing home, I have a petit theft misdemeanor and was told to write a statement about what happened. I know I have to include that I went through the pretrial diversion program and my plans of expunging the charger off my record. But do you think I should also include what happened the day I got arrested? Also anything else you think I should include?

Just the facts ma'am! "I entered the diversion program...." and here's what I'm doing about it today. DOn't focus on the crime, focus on what you've done about it and will continue to do about it.

People with convictions need to work harder than all others. You need to demonstrate that and beat the odds. Many people in nursing boards and reviews also have a past, believe it or not.
