Make sure you disclose any past misdemeanors or felonies when applying for the NCLEX. I had a misdemeanor that I was not guilty and was dismissed and forgot to put it on my application . Now I have to pay 1000 dollar fine, take a course and my license will say severely reprimand. Crazy right? I think so!! Any advice ?
Tell me what you did to not get the reprimand? I'm facing the same thing but mine is for my disclosing an article 15 I received while in the military. A completely non-judicial and administrative punishment. I'm considering fighting it, but I don't want to wait for my nclex any longer. I graduated in June and it's looking like August before I can get my Att if I accept the reprimand. Did you have to wait long to test? Any guidance is appreciated! Glad you're not stuck with the reprimand.
It is a little crazy that you can get in so much trouble for not disclosing an instance where you were charged with a crime and then it was dismissed for lack of evidence or you were found not guilty, but some actual criminals can get a charge expunged and then not have to report it. But I would always report everything to be safe.
Not so in all states. Some even require disclosure of expunged cases and may even require you to have the legal docs unsealed and presented to the board.

It doesn't hurt to go and plead my case, so I'm going to tell the truth to them and PRAY, PRAY, PRAY !! :))
