NP job with misdemeanor??

I'm an RN in Texas currently in NP school. I have a Dwi from 2007, went to nursing school in 2014 and have been working for over a year as an RN. Does the TX BON follow the same rules for NP licensure? I received my rN license with NO stipulations. Curious if my NP license will be the same and if it will be as easy to get a NP job as it was an RN job. Thanks for any helpful info!!

No personal experience with this topic, but I'd call and ask the BON directly.

I wouldn't imagine it would be terribly different, however, nobody here can give you an answer. The only people who can give you an answer is the board of nursing.
