I was arrested in the summer of '13 after getting into a physical altercation with my brother girlfriend she trash my grandmothers house and broke the back windshield of the car)

I was arrested and charged with simple battery (misdemeanor) after a year in a half of going back in forth the D.A dropped the charges with no stipulation.

A few months went by and I thought I was free until i receive a letter from state court saying they were going to charge me again.

I took my lawyers advice and took the pretrial diversion program - one day of anger management and i pay the heavy fees for the program, they drop the charges and restricted my criminal record dec'14

My license is due to expire in march and I'm having a panic attack

Will they renew my license ?

I was all set up to start lpn to RN bridge program and I got cold feet when i read that i needed a background check for admission

No panic attacks needed. Deep breaths. Discuss the case in full with your attorney and follow his/her advice to the letter. It really doesn't seem as though you have anything to worry about. Be honest and follow your attorney's advice.
