Where are all the jobs?

This sounds dumb, but how do you find out about available jobs? I check Monster and other job sites and the newspaper all the time and there are hardly any postings, mostly staffing offices. The nursing specific websites never have any jobs near me. I live about an hour from Pittsburgh, PA, so I don't know that many places to apply there to go to their individual websites. What have you had success with? Thanks.

I think that most people look at the individual hosp websites. Most list open positions there and no other place. good luck
