any suggestion as to how to get/apply to one of these jobs? thx

JRWest- We're affiliated with one of the hospital systems here, so all our job postings are mixed in with the hospital's nursing postings on the hospital "Job Search" web site and you apply in the same way. Look at any hospital job listings and you should see these.

I've seen the same system for other clinic jobs. For the FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Centers), they are free-standing- not affiliated with any hospital- so each would have its own website and post their own job listings. These are expanding and increasing in number here. Due to the ACA, they are getting more funding now. SO--- if you do a Google search for "FQHC [your city or region]" you'll get a list, and can start your search that way.
