Northwell Health RN Job Opportunity

Hello all,

I have been a member of allnurses for some time, but only stuck to reading articles, until now. I have seen how much help one can get if asked. So I decided to request some help/feedback from this wonderful healthcare community. I recently applied to a job posting at Northwell Health in New Hyde Park, NY for an RN position. According to the posting entry level candidates are welcome. Currently, I am holding an ADN, and my RN license, but have not had any medical related working experience since graduating in the fall of 2016. I passed the NCLEX in April 2017, but decided to hold off looking for a job to spend time with my newborn son. At the end of January 2018, is when I started looking for a new job. So far it has been 4 months and nothing. I would like to get some feedback on what I can do to better my chances in getting into a RN job with no experience, I am also interested to know if anyone else here has applied to this hospital as an entry level RN.
